BBG Green Power!
Wednesday was a big day for the #TeamBBGracing team, which saw six Year 10 students head to Blyton Race track to take part in the Green Power race day, in partnership with radford College
The car came to BBG months ago as a kit car that students built and tested as part of their Year 9 Resilience learning. The project tested many different parts of their skill set as they assembled each piece, working as a team to complete the build. Once the mechanics of the car were assembled and fully working it was time to design the kart bodywork. The project is designed to develop the STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering, Maths) skills students have; they were challenged to select suitable materials and a design that could win the race!
